Hi guys, I'm sorry I've been absent lately and I apologize for that. I came back though didn't I? I found this awesome TUTORIAL on the internet on how to make a FABRIC bucket swing! A few family members of mine had purchased the children (younger cousins) a swing set with a slide included but they had not taken in consideration that we have Two young ones who can't use the big boy/girl swing yet, so I went on a hunt for affordable infant swing and I found none that I liked and none that were budget friendly. So I got this idea, if they can make FABRIC hammocks then I'm sure their are such things as FABRIC swings. On the search I went looking for fabric swings. On my search I found very intricate and complicated but beautifully made fabric swings. Here is a picture of one of the swings I came across

Beautiful right? Except that doesn't look too safe...at all. I also found other fabric swings that costed from 20-75 dollers my reaction? Ya, no. But if you don't have the time or ability to make one yourself here is a link to a fabric swing that is on sale for 40

On my journey to find the fabric swing for my baby I found a tutorial, a woman a beautiful intelligent woman posted on her blog site, when I found it I took FULL advantage and soaked up the FREE information like a sponge. The next day I went out and grabbed the materials at hobby lobby needed to assemble my baby's swing.
- 2 yards of fabric - 5.00
- PARACHUTE ROPE- 2.56
- Wooden Cylinder rods -2.00
Cost together $9.57 NINE FRICKEN DOLLARS and before I found this tutorial I was going to go purchase the same exact swing but for 40. This woman should be getting paid for this tutorial but being a kind woman and a loving mother she understands and make this tutorial free to the public. Thank you so much! It took me five days to complete the swing since I am a novice with a sewing machine. All my hard work paid off though. Its slightly crooked because the holes I drilled for the rope are not completely even and the fabric itself is slightly of kilter but I am proud to say I MADE THAT SWING. Here is my finished product :)
